My links page really sucks ass right now—I have so many things I could put up here but who has the time?

ENGINEERING

Oxide Lounge and Pogo Studio
Together they are the shape of professional recording in The Prarie State.

Chris Garges
If you're ever in Charlotte NC and need a badass recording engineer or session drummer, CG is your man. He also travels.

MASTERING

Golden Mastering
Golden ears as the name implies! Great guys and great results for the all-important mastering phase of your next album.

MUSICIANS

The Sleaves
Kickass SF Rock and Roll, end of story. Longtime Great Magnet associates.

Paul Bertolino
Former fontman of the aforemetnioned Sleaves. Now doing his own thing and how!

INDY LABELS OF NOTE

Antenna Farm Records
The record label of choice for Great Magnet luminary Paul Bertolino as well as the amazing Bart Davenport.

RETAIL

Font End Audio
A great place to get your pro gear. Warren is a super-friendly and knowledgeable guy that personally knows all the gear he sells and will help guide you to the right thing whether you want to spend pocket change or a mint.

Mercenary Audio
If you're looking for good gear advice, kickass help and service, and a collection of gear guaranteed not to suck, call Fletcher and the gang.

Eastwood Guitars
Doing some interesting reproductions of classic 60's kitsch guitars at affordable prices. Their logo kicks ass, and I'm not just saying that because I designed it.

EDUCATIONAL

TapeOp
The best recording magazine ever, and WTF it's FREE! THeir message board kicks ass for fast answers from some real pros who are real nice guys. The TpaeOp ethos emphasizes art and critical listening over gear and holds out a helping hand to those who are less "in the know".

GearSlutz
Another great message board with probably a larger percentage of "heavy hitters" logging on. Sometimes less friendly than TapeOp, sometimes not. Depends on the alignment of the stars.
